Make no mistake the outcome of the forthcoming General election will define for the foreseeable future our Nation, our democracy, our freedoms, and the Rule of Law. No event will prove to be more important in our history.
We would do well to remember that it was not the FBI who brought down Al Capone, America’s crime Czar but the Inland Revenue Service who secured convictions for tax evasion on a massive scale resulting in his imprisonment for a lengthy period and permanent damage to his criminal family.
Teetering as we are on the brink of tribal Marxism should this government be returned to power I can think of no worse a time in our history to be considering abandoning the Monarch as our head of state. Republicans take heed. What you are proposing will be a disaster for the survival of our democracy and way of life.
It is no wonder that Ngai Tahu are content to let their water grab rest unresolved in the High Court when they have a cast iron legislative right through Three Waters (Affordable Water) waiting in the wings.
The ownership of water is coming to the top of the political agenda with sinister connotations that it can be bought and sold and allocated on the basis of race. It is therefore timely to revert to first principles and consider just what it is the politicians are dealing with.
The three pillars which underpin our way of life are: Democracy, the Market Economy and The Common Law. These pillars are being eroded by the present government with the push for a tribally based society and the backlash which has forced a Prime Minister from power and replaced her with a trick cyclist who is displaying impressive skills of back peddling.
It is unimaginably stupid for National to find itself in this position over such a fundamental matter as freedom of thought. The election is theirs to lose, very few voters want a return of the tribal Marxists but neither do they want such a heavy-handed medieval response to freedom of speech in such a contestable matter.
New Zealand stands on the abyss of a Marxist inspired racially divided future and four more years of this government will be all it takes to realise that dream...
In the Westminster system of government the King in Parliament is sovereign, and no government of the day can bind the hands of its successor. This is constitutional Law 101.
A virus has been allowed to infect the common law and it has unknowable and unpredictable consequences. We can no longer refer to the common law because it no longer is common to all New Zealanders. Unless the courts and the law command widespread community acceptance by its impartiality and universal application the door is open to anarchy.
