Labour is the champion of woke. Under the watch of our new Prime Minister, New Zealand has been transformed into ‘woke’ society where anyone questioning any aspect of the Government’s social justice agenda is treated as an enemy and cancelled.

To achieve equality and democracy, all references to the Treaty will need to be taken out of legislation, along with all references to race. Doing so reflects two important facts: the Treaty has expired and is no longer relevant, and, as far as ‘race’ is concerned, there is only one race, the human race!

Never forget that this is our country, our future to decide. Politicians, and the political system do not serve us well. It will take a considerable effort to turn back from racism as the normal and accepted state of affairs. Getting rid of co-governance would be a good first step, but only a first step on the long road back to equality.

It is unsurprising that the public objects to enforced racial categorisation. And that’s the bottom line - Kiwis want to be treated as equals, united as one people under one flag. New Zealand is one nation - a country of equal citizens, not a collection of competing tribes.

Sir Apirana Ngata wrote his explanation of the Maori version of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1922, when he was an MP. That was in the days before activists started re-inventing the Treaty. The booklet was published and distributed to all Maori families. You can read it here.

This toxic situation, where democracy is being replaced with ‘apartheid’ must be unwound. Turning New Zealand into a “colourblind society”, where our team of 5 million Kiwis are all equal under the law, is surely the only way to build a strong and united future.

With equality there would be no Maori roll, no Maori seats in parliament, no Maori wards in local government, no Waitangi Tribunal, no Treaty settlements, no separate schools and hospitals, no co-governance, no Three Waters. We could simply settle down and live together.

New Zealand stands on the abyss of a Marxist inspired racially divided future and four more years of this government will be all it takes to realise that dream...

On behalf of the New Zealand Centre for Political Research I would like to say a huge thank you for your on-going interest and wonderful support over the last 12 months - and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!

After two years of the Ardern Government, we have now learned that they have no respect for New Zealand’s core values of freedom and democracy. With their jack boots, they have trampled over our traditional culture as they attempt to divide our society and crush our spirit.
